Description
This Ozone Ointment with Propolis has been developed by an alpaca breeder. The ointment contains biologically active ozone and is antibacterial, fungicidal, and virucidal. It is enriched with propolis which provides antiprotozoal properties, as well as being locally anaesthetising and anti-inflammatory. Cotton seed oil provides active ingredients for regeneration of skin.
This ozone ointment can be used for healing and protecting the skin after abrasions, for permitting recovery of compromised skin following infestation and damage due to mange and other skin parasites. It also aids in regrowth of fleece as long as the follicles have not been damaged in the dermis.
I have imported this product as a replacement for PEAderm cream which I had previously recommended for treatment of skin alongside mange treatment to help moisturise and soften the skin as well as remove crusts and scale etc. I asked an owner who had previously used PEAderm cream to trial it for me. She treated one half of the animal with PEAderm and one half with this Ozone Ointment and found no difference in response.
